Unfortunately for Exile, they stirred up a bit of a hornets nest this time as they “claimed” ownership of the Misaba system (Update: Exile is denying this) and that pissed off the Curatores Veritatis Alliance. I will attempt to find me some pvp action this time around. Oh well, at least I got my jump clone set up now. Or should I say was…Įxile has declared war against HUZZAH once again, so starting tonight we will not be safe in empire space. This trip was safe as there is no war declarations on us. I then decided to fly another 20+ hops in empire space out to our corporation’s HQ. Luckily, the 23 jump trip was uneventful. Not having a lot of people on at the time, I decided to fly it solo without the benefit of a scout. I was flying my Rifter, loaded up with lots of go-fast parts and warp core stabilizers to try to avoid any gate campers along the way. So technically I only need to target one rat.I left our alliance station in 0.0 space to make the long trip back out to empire. Once you have agro, turn fof on and sit back and relax. (Sarcasm On) Yep, they are useless! (Sarcasm Off) Gurista/Serp ew: my autotargeting cruise missiles are killing rats and make my wallet blink every X minutes because my autotargetting cruise missiles don't give jack about rat ew. Gurista/Serp ew: my cruise missiles don't do jack because I can not lock rats/my targeting range is down to 20 km.
#Querious rats free
I feel like if these were to be implemented they need a delay of use after switching modes, im thinking 5-10 seconds.įeel free to critique, add, and what not.Īutotargeting cruise missile range: 220 km PVP mode- Target any ship not friendly, fleet or corp. Option for usefullness- Giving these missiles modes. i feel that we should either remove these completely or make these useful. I was actually pondering going in a caracal with these into null just to troll but then i read a bit and saw that these are no good for anything. Still useful, I just wish they were a tad more useful. As they stand now, you have to unlock anything that you do have targeted for that to work. It'd be really cool to have a rapid light launcher loaded with FoFs (I still call them that too) that you could turn on and swat down hostile drones without having to target them. My one complaint about them is that they don't work if you do actually have something targeted.
Better for pve than pvp but can provide a nice surprise in pvp.
#Querious rats how to
I still call them FoFs even after the name change, but auto-targetting missiles rock if you know how to use them.
#Querious rats plus
FoF plus Sentry Fleet Phoon can do 1100 dps for example. I've also used FoF missiles on Typhoons, Typhoon fleet issues, Barghests, Rattlesnakes and Armageddons. In Fountain I used a Vindicator/Tengu combo, in Querious it was Nightmare plus 2 Fof Navy Ravens.
When I live in tribute I did anoms and complexes with a machariel backed up by 2 fof Tengus. I've used FoF missiles religiously in pve for years (even before ccp buffed them to not shoot at structures a couple years ago). Like letting you surprise those snobby ****-sure EWAR guys in pvp (I have a ECM-burst, after burner, FoF missile Gila fit that I named "luls Mr. Like letting you multi box way way easier. Like being super lazy in pve (my FoF missile Gila can solo 9/10s and makes short work for forsaken hubs). They are fine for what they are intended for. Auto-targeting missiles are find, I've used them in pvp and I use them all the time in pve now that they don't attack structures (I'm using them right now in fact, I'm flying a Gila).
